Three sides of marketing. One systematic approach
My career has taken me through media, agencies and large organisations - from understanding audiences to leading teams and building systems. Each chapter has shaped not only how I work, but how I think about people, decisions, discipline and change.

Learning how attention, audiences and the world of media really work.
2011
Agency
Working across campaigns, performance and creative projects for different industries and some of the world's biggest brands - learning to adapt, challenge assumptions and deliver.

Building teams, taking responsibility for multi-million annual marketing budgets, and learning that results are often shaped by people, decisions and the systems behind them.

Taking what I have learned from work, sport and life - and exploring what it means to live with more attention, discipline and purpose.
About
The idea behind this site
The older I get, the more I realise that life is less about having everything figured out and more about paying attention to what gives us energy, what holds us back, and where we choose to spend our limited time.
Over the years, I have built a career, made good decisions and bad ones, challenged myself through sport, and gone through periods when I had to stop and rethink my priorities. I am still learning, experimenting and trying to understand what helps us live with more purpose, discipline and curiosity.
This site is a place where I share some of that journey - my thoughts, experiences and the things I keep coming back to. Books, podcasts, sport, personal challenges and lessons from everyday life. Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe there is value in sharing what we learn along the way.
If something here makes you pause, think or look at something from a different perspective, then this site has done its job.

Podcast
The Diary of a CEO
I listen to The Diary of a CEO for the depth and honesty of its conversations. I value hearing ideas and perspectives directly from remarkable people, beyond the short answers and polished narratives of traditional media. The long-form format gives me a chance to understand not only what people have achieved, but how they think, make decisions and see the world.

Podcast
High Performance
Sport has always been a big part of my life, and as an F1 fan, I am fascinated by how the smallest details can define the final result. High Performance brings conversations with people I genuinely find interesting and offers a different perspective on major sporting moments, revealing the mindset, decisions and details behind the performance.

Podcast
Founders
Founders gives me a chance to look back at history and discover events, decisions and moments I might otherwise never have considered. I find history fascinating - it gives us an opportunity to learn from those who came before us, recognise patterns and see how the past often connects with the challenges and opportunities of today.
Books

Book
Barry Diller - Who Knew
A fascinating book about the evolution of the media and entertainment industry in the US. I listened to it while running and would definitely recommend the Audible version, narrated by Barry Diller himself. What stayed with me most was how instinct, curiosity and the courage to make decisions before the outcome was obvious can shape an entire career - and sometimes an industry.

Book
Oliver Burkeman - Four Thousand Weeks
Time, as we all know, is limited - yet it is surprisingly easy to forget this in everyday life. We cannot be perfect or efficient at everything, so we need to understand our priorities and focus our time where it is truly needed and matters most. This book reminded me to be more conscious of my time and, more importantly, where I choose to spend it.

Book
Valdis Valters - Dumpinieks pēc piecdesmit
A short, easy and quick read - more a collection of reflections and lessons than a traditional book. Many of the ideas are things we probably already understand somewhere in the back of our minds, but do not always stop to think about. It is a book that can make you pause, reflect and create your own list of actions to improve your everyday life, stay productive and remain active beyond fifty. The earlier we understand this, the longer we may be able to maintain a better quality of life.
